Artem had been working in Turkey for a long time and held a Turkish residence permit. Even though his German level was very basic, just one month after starting work with us he was invited to his first interview. And at the second interview — he received a cooperation offer from a German organization!

The difficulties began during the visa application process in Turkey. Turkish bureaucracy and the working style in the country have their own, let’s say, peculiarities. It often happens that even the employees themselves do not know certain details. But we stayed in constant contact with Artem, supporting him and advising him on how to act in different situations.

In the end, none of this prevented him from receiving a visa from another country. And Artem was incredibly happy when he got his passport back from the consulate (author's spelling and punctuation preserved):

The feeling was unbelievable. Honestly, I was already praying that they would at least return my passport 😅 and then they returned it with a visa inside.

I was very worried because the Turks are a little irresponsible and careless. For example, when I sent my passport, the postal worker honestly told me: ‘If this is really an important document, don’t send it through our service, we will most likely lose it.'

Anyway, when I saw my passport, my happiness had no limits, and when I saw the visa glued inside, it was the fulfillment of my dreams.

Now Artem is already in Germany and helps at a clinic for people with mental disorders. He was accommodated in a bright studio apartment with his own bathroom and kitchen:

He is also provided with medical insurance, meals, a travel pass, language courses, and monthly payments ("pocket money," "Taschengeld"), which are tax-free.

The journey was exciting, but in the end I arrived safely, met with the Frau, she settled me in, and tomorrow I’ll start handling everything officially.
